Covenant Relationship

The following is a Covenantal Relationship with the churches that CMA will plant and assist spiritually, financially, and relationally. CMA seeks to plant new churches and assist existing churches who are committed to multiplication and to becoming a large congregation (attendance over 200 and growing toward 1000). These churches are not only committed to growth, but are committed to growth primarily by conversion (reaching the out-of-church and the unchurched in every community).

CMA Church Plants commit:
  1. To plant reproducing churches as they mature and grow.
  2. To reach the unchurched or out-of-church population and fulfill the Great Commission “to make fully devoted followers of Christ.”
  3. To global world wide missions. We believe that every church plant needs a strong desire to reach people beyond their walls.
  4. To develop strong leaders.
  5. To value diversity.
  6. To place both men and women in every area of leadership by spiritual giftedness.
  7. To give an intentional percentage of budget to Missions.
  8. To give an intentional percentage of budget to CMA.
  9. To be recovery-based churches.
  10. To fulfill Luke 4:4, Bind up the broken-hearted, good news to the poor, set captives free, and preach the acceptable year of the Lord’s salvation and favor.
We will plant churches in the United States with these understandings. We will plant churches in other countries to be self-supportive within the first five years.
